API usage data

• API call logs: timestamp, operator used, domain, zeqond, response metadata
• IP addresses: rate limiting and abuse prevention
• API key identifiers (never the key itself after creation)

Website analytics

We use minimal, privacy-preserving analytics. No third-party tracking pixels. No selling of data to advertisers.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Providing and improving the ZEQ API service
• Sending transactional emails (trial confirmation, billing, key delivery)
• Abuse prevention and rate limit enforcement
• Legal compliance and fraud prevention

We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your physics computation inputs for training AI models.

4. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure on request. API logs: retained for 90 days for debugging, then aggregated. Billing data: retained for 7 years as required by UK law.

• Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS compliant). We never store card details.
• Hetzner — dedicated server hosting (API runtime). Data processed in the EU.

8. International Transfers

The ZEQ API runtime is hosted in any environment: infrastructure in the United States. Data transfers occur under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

9. Changes to this Policy

We will notify account holders of material changes via email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
